Cyrus Artisan Rugs was founded in 1988 when brothers, Arya and Alex Farahan brought the company to Minnesota. The tradition of rugs and dealing them has been part of the Farahan family for five generations. Beginning in Iran, the family business has migrated through the years; having had showrooms around the world from New York to London.
Today Cyrus Artisan Rugs is the Midwest‘s largest rug dealer. Because the company has years of experience in the industry, Cyrus can offer our clients the very best resources from across the country and around the world. Well-respected relationships with suppliers and contacts have been held within the family for generations, and because of this, Cyrus has the largest selection of unique and exclusive rugs, more name brands, more customizing options, and more inventory than any other store.
Alex Farahan has made a long term commitment to providing our clients with the best the industry has to offer. With over 20 years of experience Alex has honed his eye for fashion and design. Alex takes pride in providing some of the most exquisite designs and unique color palettes available in rugs today. At Cyrus we believe that each rug carries with it a piece of history; we strive to highlight and maintain the structural and artistic integrity of every hand-selected piece we carry.Â
